Rae Solomon’s country music roots come naturally, having grown up on a farm 45 minutes from Seattle. This former rodeo queen was a singer/songwriter from the time she could talk. After touring the West Coast for several years, Rae built a diehard fan base and being recognized for her incredible stage presence.
Rae now calls Nashville home and knows what it’s like to face the emotional ups and downs that Nashville delivers to successful regional country artists. My music now reflects emotions that are much deeper than anything I’ve done before. The songs I wrote for my latest project came out of a year filled with heart break. Nashville gave me a record deal, a lost record deal, a messy break-up and for a time, left me homeless. Those experience provided a lot of things to write about. “I had to dust myself off, pick myself up and channel all of the hardship into my music.”
I still have my fun songs, because no matter what you go through, life still has its beautiful parts. I had to give myself permission to be vulnerable and let my music reflect it.
The release of her single, Love is Stupid; the upcoming release of her EP and national tour will make for an exciting year for Rae Solomon.
Rae has opened for the likes of Blake Shelton, Granger Smith, Dan + Shay and many more. She is now chasing her dreams.
