This band delivers on its tribute to that little old band from Texas in a big way! Matching guitars, custom drums, the look, the movements and of course 2 -10 foot video screens paying homage ZZ Top and not to mention the fuzzy guitars with the BIG beards.
Having played around the entire country, ZZ’s Best is THE tribute that gets return visits to all the venues they play. From the moment they hit the stage you can feel the excitement grow in the crowd. Playing all the major hits and then some, ZZ’s Best continually brings their A game!
Originally, the band played out of their home area of SW Florida at all the major clubs and opened for many notable national acts, such as, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Styx, Mountain, Edgar Winter, Grand Funk Railroad, Greg Allman and many other notables. “This band had one heck of an edgy sound” noted Tommy Shaw after seeing them as an opener back in 2005.
After years of doing the normal club scene, Paul Jennings (aka – Rusty Grille) decided to move the band in a new direction and thus ZZ’s Best was formed. “I love paying tribute to ZZ Top and being a 3piece power trio, this just seemed perfect for us” says Paul.
