Chicago Rewired is the Premier Tribute Ensemble for Chicago®, a Charlotte, NC-based full-band formed in 2015 by drummer Mike Graci. Documented credits include a 20-minute encore at the Dunn Center “Rockin’ the Years” series and a “first rate” testimonial from the Taft Attorney Retreat at Belterra Casino & Resort.
Chicago is one of the longest-running and most commercially successful pop/rock bands in American history: 100+ million records sold, 21 top-10 singles, 5 consecutive #1 albums, 11 #1 singles, and a 2016 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction. They are the second-best-charting American band in Billboard history, behind only the Beach Boys, and have toured continuously since 1967.
Chicago’s catalog is among the most complex in classic rock, with three-part brass arrangements, intricate multi-vocalist harmonies, and jazz-rock instrumental sections that defeat most cover bands. Chicago Rewired is built specifically to deliver this complexity at the level the originals demand.
Chicago is still touring continuously since 1967, but the band is aging (Robert Lamm 81, James Pankow 78, Lee Loughnane 79). Terry Kath died in 1978; Peter Cetera left in 1985. The iconic Cetera-era catalog (“If You Leave Me Now,” “Hard to Say I’m Sorry,” “You’re the Inspiration”) is increasingly hard to deliver at original vocal range. Chicago Rewired delivers the full catalog as audiences remember it.
Documented testimonials from venue programmers and event hosts:
“Fun was had by all from the beginning to the end. It’s not too often that a group will command a 20-minute encore as your band did. I would highly recommend Chicago Rewired to any group that’s seeking entertainment for a venue, festival or any other occasion.” — The Dunn Center (Rocky Mount, NC) — “Rockin’ the Years” Concert Series
“Mike Graci and the other members of the band were extremely professional, likeable and responsive. Our experience with Chicago Rewired was first rate!!” — Susan Kilkenny — Taft Attorney Retreat at Belterra Casino & Resort (Florence, IN)
Repeat-booking history and venue programmer recommendations from PACs, casinos, and concert series across the Southeast. The same five-core lineup also performs as REO Survivor & Co., giving multi-tribute booking flexibility for venues programming double-bill evenings.
Chicago Rewired is a proven fit for:
Chicago Rewired performs the songs audiences most want to hear, drawing from across the band’s 58-year career and multiple creative eras.
Chicago Rewired traces back to summer 2015 in Charlotte, NC, where local drummer Mike Graci set out to build something beyond the conventional cover bands he heard around town. He recruited musicians capable of Chicago’s notoriously complex catalog—brass section, multi-vocalist harmonies, the works—and the band has grown into a sustained regional and national touring act.
Mike Graci leads the band from behind the kit. Beyond Chicago Rewired, he is a working drum educator and drum teacher, and leads sister tribute REO Survivor & Co. (REO Speedwagon, Loverboy, Survivor) with the same five-core members—formed after their 2018 Summer Concert Tour. The cross-tribute experience shows in the band’s production discipline.
Documented venue credits include the Fillmore Underground (Charlotte, July 2019 and ongoing), the Boca Black Box (Boca Raton, October 2025), the Dunn Center (Rocky Mount NC) “Rockin’ the Years” series, Belterra Casino & Resort (Florence IN) for the Taft Attorney Retreat, and the Heron Creek Community Foundation. Chicago Rewired is represented by TSE, Serge Entertainment Group, and Producers Inc.
Chicago tributes that can credibly deliver the band’s complex brass-and-vocal catalog with the technical authenticity Chicago Rewired brings are uncommon. Chicago Rewired is the premier option in the category. TSE can also recommend other Chicago, brass-driven rock, or 1970s/80s soft-rock tribute options for buyers exploring alternatives.

Every option we recommend is vetted and event-proven. If Chicago Rewired is not the perfect fit, we’ll quickly suggest comparable options that are.
Pricing depends on event date, location, routing, travel, production requirements (full-band setup with brass section and multi-vocalist staging), and overall scope. The fastest way to get a real number is to request availability with your event details.
Popular dates can tighten up quickly—especially peak summer fair and festival weekends, PAC concert series, casino entertainment, attorney and corporate retreat season, and 1970s/80s themed corporate programming. Early inquiries usually create better artist and budget options.
Yes. The act is regularly booked for corporate events, charity galas, attorney retreats (the Taft Attorney Retreat at Belterra Casino & Resort is documented), private parties, theaters, casinos, fairs, festivals, weddings, and other special events, depending on setup and production needs.
Three things. First, technical authenticity — the band is built specifically to deliver Chicago’s three-part brass arrangements and multi-vocalist harmonies. Second, drummer-bandleader Mike Graci is a working drum educator who also leads sister tribute REO Survivor & Co. Third, documented audience response: a 20-minute encore at the Dunn Center, plus a “first rate” testimonial from a Taft Attorney Retreat program manager.
Chicago is still touring continuously since 1967, but the band is aging. Robert Lamm is 81, James Pankow is 78, Lee Loughnane is 79. The iconic Peter Cetera-led 1980s catalog (“If You Leave Me Now,” “Hard to Say I’m Sorry,” “You’re the Inspiration”) is increasingly difficult to deliver at original vocal range. Chicago Rewired is one of the few credentialed ways to experience the entire catalog as audiences remember it.
Yes. Chicago Rewired performs across multiple creative eras: the early brass-driven jazz-rock material (“25 or 6 to 4,” “Saturday in the Park,” “Make Me Smile”) and the 1980s Peter Cetera-led adult-contemporary era (“If You Leave Me Now,” “Hard to Say I’m Sorry,” “You’re the Inspiration”). Buyers can request emphasis on a specific era depending on the event audience.
Yes. The same five core members also perform as REO Survivor & Co. (“Take It On The Run,” “Working For The Weekend,” “Eye Of The Tiger”). Strong fit for buyers who want to book the same trusted musicians for two distinct tribute shows or a double-bill multi-tribute evening.
Soft rock, jazz rock, brass-driven rock, 1970s/80s adult-contemporary, and classic rock audiences. Multi-generational rock crowds (Chicago has been touring continuously since 1967, so the band spans four decades of fans). Music educator and musician audiences — Chicago’s catalog is universally respected by working musicians for its technical complexity. The show plays especially well at PACs, casinos, attorney retreats, and 1970s/80s themed corporate galas.
Yes. If Chicago Rewired is unavailable or not the best fit, TSE can recommend other vetted Chicago, brass-driven rock, and 1970s/80s soft-rock tribute options based on budget, location, and event style.
Submit an inquiry with your event date, location, event type, and which catalog era you would prefer (full-band Chicago across all eras, early jazz-rock focus, 1980s Cetera ballad era, or paired with the REO Survivor & Co. sister tribute). TSE can confirm availability and provide pricing guidance.
