The Hillsborough County Fairgrounds, located in Dover, FL and home to many events throughout the year is using TSE Entertainment to find sponsorship sales opportunities for the Fairgrounds. The Board of the Hillsborough County Fairgrounds understands that finding sponsors is an undertaking that is best left up to professional sponsorship companies like TSE. The TSE sponsorship sales team will work with the staff of the Fairgrounds to increase the level of sponsorship support for the events held at the Hillsborough County Fairgrounds.
In 1990 a group of citizens decided to bring back the traditions of a county fair and formed The Greater Hillsborough County Fair Association, Inc. The fair transitioned from a tenant at Raymond James Stadium to an operational Fairgrounds at our current location in Dover, FL in 2007. In 2007 and 2008 the fair was held as Livestock shows and the Fair with a ride midway, entertainment, competitive exhibits and livestock shows returned in 2009. The five-day fair was successful and has grown every year.
The Hillsborough County Fairgrounds focus on family fun and tradition in Hillsborough County, hosting a variety of community events at the fairgrounds, all focusing on community and safe, family fun! Major events include:
- The annual Hillsborough County Fair: The 2025 Hillsborough County Fair will be held Oct 30 thru Nov 9, 2025. It’s an 11-day celebration of community, youth competitions, arena entertainment and fair fun for everyone!
The Tampa Bay’s Festival of Lights: A holiday light spectacular that will envelop you and your family in an enchanting environment blanketed in more than a million lights from entrance to exit. Young and young at heart will enjoy the nearly 2 MILE drive-thru immersive experience of continuous light features followed by a festive walking visit to Santa’s Village, full of attractions, holiday goodies and visits with SANTA!

The Board will continue to showcase the amazing youth and agriculture in Hillsborough County while providing safe, wholesome family fun and entertainment!
“For sure, the Hillsborough County Fairgrounds has become a major event venue for all corners of Hillsborough County and beyond,” said Betty Jo Tompkins, a member of the fair executive board and former Riverview Citizen of the Year. “People participating in these events represent schools, businesses, clubs and organizations from as far south as Wimauma and as far north as the Wesley Chapel border.”
