Bring the Ultimate Traveling Wilburys Tribute Experience to Your Event

Why This Tribute Works Every Time

The Traveling Wilburys formed in 1988 when George Harrison invited friends to “get together and write some songs.” The group recorded just two albums (Volume 1 in 1988 and Vol. 3 in 1990), produced an enduring catalog including “Handle With Care” and “End of the Line,” won the 1989 Grammy for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group, and sold more than 3 million copies of Volume 1 in its first six months. The five members are five of the most celebrated artists in modern music.

Category of one: a show the original supergroup never gave

The original Traveling Wilburys never performed live together. The Revue is delivering an experience the original band never offered, making the show genuinely a category-of-one in the tribute world.

Five major-artist catalogs in a single concert

  • Wilburys catalog — Handle With Care, End of the Line, Last Night, Tweeter and the Monkey Man, Inside Out
  • George Harrison — Here Comes the Sun, My Sweet Lord, Got My Mind Set on You, While My Guitar Gently Weeps
  • Tom Petty — Won’t Back Down, Free Fallin’, American Girl, Mary Jane’s Last Dance, Refugee
  • Roy Orbison — Pretty Woman, Crying, Only the Lonely, In Dreams, You Got It
  • Bob Dylan — Like a Rolling Stone, Blowin’ in the Wind, Tangled Up in Blue
  • Jeff Lynne / ELO — Don’t Bring Me Down, Mr. Blue Sky, Evil Woman, Telephone Line, Showdown

Session-veteran lineup with two Hall of Fame credentials

  • Chris Lockheed (as Jim Keltner, drums) — Arizona Musicians Hall of Fame inductee; toured with New Riders of the Purple Sage, The Tubes, Van Morrison, Blue Cheer; national tours with #1 Johnny Cash tribute Rusty Evans & Ring of Fire
  • Tom (guitar) — Gulf Coast Music Hall of Fame inductee; toured U.S., Europe, Japan, Canada with Big Brother & the Holding Company (Janis Joplin’s band), Jefferson Starship, Joan Baez
  • Steve Love (as Jeff Lynne) — leads 1960s tribute band Back Pages; also plays in Refugee (Tom Petty tribute), giving him Petty-material depth that anchors much of the Wilburys catalog

Why now

Three of the original five Wilburys are gone forever: Roy Orbison (December 1988), George Harrison (November 2001), and Tom Petty (October 2017). Bob Dylan (84) and Jeff Lynne (77) are still living, but a reunion has never been seriously discussed. The Revue is the only credentialed way to experience this remarkable supergroup’s music performed live in a true full-band format.

Audience & Venue Response

Documented testimonials from venue programmers and event hosts:

“Excellent music, voices and interaction with the audience, tribute band closeness to the original, personality of the performers and the audience’s enthusiastic receptiveness. This is a standing ovation group. A must see!” — Jackie Howard — Jac-Ron Enterprises, The Palace PAC (Tamarac, FL)

“You have great music, popular songs, talented musicians. Our audience loved your show. You all are very personable and it came out at the end for your final song and encore.” — Mary Brodzeller — Executive Director, Schauer PAC (Hartford, WI)

“Traveling Wilburys Revue always brings our audience a great show that everyone loves and keeps coming back for.” — David — Westside Theater (Newman, CA)

Plus a documented sold-out repeat booking at Sutter Creek Theatre, the award-winning 215-seat historic former silent-film theatre (voted Best Indie Theatre multiple times on the KCRA A-List), and additional PAC credits at Pacific Repertory Theater (Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA) and KVMR Community Radio features.

About The Traveling Wilburys Revue

The Traveling Wilburys Revue is a musically accurate recreation of one of music’s most beloved supergroups and the individual solo catalogs of its five members. The original Wilburys never performed live together — they wrote and recorded out of George Harrison’s 1988 invitation to “get together and write some songs,” then went their separate ways. The Revue’s live concerts have thrilled audiences exactly because that original experience never existed.

The lineup is built from session veterans with Hall of Fame credentials. Chris Lockheed (as Jim Keltner, drums) is an Arizona Musicians Hall of Fame inductee with Goose Creek Symphony (Capitol Records). Tom (guitar) is a Gulf Coast Music Hall of Fame inductee whose touring credits include Big Brother & the Holding Company, Jefferson Starship, and Joan Baez. Steve Love (as Jeff Lynne) leads 1960s tribute band Back Pages and also plays in Refugee, the Tom Petty tribute — giving him an unusual depth of authenticity on the Petty material that anchors much of the Wilburys catalog.

Audience and PAC programmer response has been exceptional. Documented venue credits include sold-out repeat bookings at Sutter Creek Theatre (the award-winning 215-seat historic former silent-film theatre, voted Best Indie Theatre multiple times on the KCRA A-List), the Palace PAC in Tamarac FL, Schauer PAC in Hartford WI, Westside Theater in Newman CA, Pacific Repertory Theater in Carmel-by-the-Sea CA, and KVMR Community Radio features. The band is also available for virtual events and livestream engagements.

Looking for a Traveling Wilburys Tribute? We Have Multiple Options

Traveling Wilburys tributes are exceptionally rare (the original supergroup never toured, which has discouraged most tribute act attempts), and tributes with two Music Hall of Fame inductees in the lineup plus five-major-artist catalog breadth are essentially nonexistent outside of the Wilburys Revue. The Revue is the premier option in the category. TSE Entertainment can also recommend Beatles, Tom Petty, or other 1960s/70s/80s classic-rock tribute options for buyers exploring alternatives or building a multi-act program.

We help match the right act to your event based on:

  • Budget range
  • Event size and production needs
  • Location and travel costs
  • Availability on your date
  • Preferred format (full multi-artist Wilburys Revue, single-artist tribute like PettyBreakers or Britain’s Finest [INTERNAL LINK to each], or a broader 1960s/70s/80s rock revue)

Every option we recommend is vetted and event-proven. If The Traveling Wilburys Revue is not the perfect fit, we’ll quickly suggest comparable options that are.

Pricing and Availability

Pricing depends on event date, location, routing, travel, production requirements, and overall scope. Virtual events and livestream engagements are also available. The fastest way to get a real number is to request availability with your event details.

Popular dates can tighten up quickly—especially peak summer fair and festival weekends, PAC and theater programming, casino entertainment, college music history programming, and high-demand corporate dates. Early inquiries usually create better artist and budget options.
