Doug learned to read and write music at an early age and was instructed on guitar, drums and trombone. He is also trained in vocals and music theory. Coming from a musical family, Doug started performing professionally when he was just a teenager — singing and playing in a popular local band until the age of 35.
Starting in 2004 and continuing to the present, Doug Brewin has been performing as an Alan Jackson tribute band for the Las Vegas “Legends in Concert” show. He continues to appear with his own production “MegaStars of Country,” where he also performs a tribute to country music group Brooks & Dunn with Larry Turner.
Still working with a band of his own, Brewin now rocks the house as both Jackson and himself. Because for him, “being a musician is probably one of the best jobs in the world.” Brewin’s performance as an Alan Jackson cover band regularly impresses longtime fans of Jackson’s work, but more than that, he leaves a favorable impression of the country music star to people new to his work.
Doug’s Alan Jackson Tribute Band makes you feel as if you are watching an Alan Jackson concert.
