Beatlemania64 was a surprise for my husband’s 64th birthday party. They came in early and set up the stage and put a cover over the drums so that the name would now show, then they went into a back room and stayed until concert time. When my brother in law walked in he said “Hey Why is Paul’s guitar here, and that’s John Lennon’s guitar, and there is John’s second guitar. Hey how about we get the Beatles band to play.” We went into the party room and had dinner and then went to the stage at the appointed time. The intro started playing and they walked into the room and onto the stage single file just like the Beatles always did. They played the same instruments the Beatles played, they moved like the Beatles did, they spoke like the Beatles. They were not a Beatles cover band they were Beatles imitators and it was OUTSTANDING. They played a full concert. Everyone was singing along and dancing. AMAZING was the word I kept hearing throughout the night and the next day. My husband kept telling me all the things they did that the Beatles did. It was a great birthday party for him.
Thank you for making my husband’s 64th birthday a SMASH.
