TSE Entertainment is privileged to be working with the Baytown, Texas’ Parks and Recreation Department once again with booking their entertainment for this free festival. This two-day Independence Day Celebration festival is Baytown’s way of saying “Happy Birthday America.”

This year’s event will take place Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4, at Bicentennial Park in Baytown. Festivalgoers will be able to celebrate this Independence Day with this music-packed, fun-filled, and completely free event.

Booking Music for Parks and Recreation Departments for Many Years

In its 45-year history of booking entertainment, TSE works with many Parks and Recreation Departments for both booking entertainment and concert production. None as long as for the Baytown Parks and Recreation Department. TSE had the pleasure of being the music booking agency for Baytown’s celebration for the past 25 years.

We are excited to help put on another one that will be bigger and better than ever before. Aside from music, the celebration will include vendors booths for shopping, a huge variety of food truck options, a parade on July 4, and a play zone for the kids. And to end the night, a DJ will play an assembly of patriotic tunes, and spectators will view a huge fireworks show that will light up the night’s sky.

Festival Entertainment Booking is Our Strong Suit

TSE has a long history of booking the music for fairs and festivals. The Baytown festival features Classic Rock concerts on July 3rd with country music the theme for the concerts on the 4th of July. The acts booked by TSE for this year’s event should be thoroughly enjoyed by the many fans of classic rock and country music. While the event has yet to be formally announced, when it is you can find all of the information at the Visit Baytown website.

Musical acts signed by TSE for the event will include artists Peterson Brothers; Dennis DeYoung and the Music of Styx; Aaron Tippin; Sammy Kershaw; and Collin Raye. Attendees will be headbanging one night and two-stepping the next.

Opening the show on July 3 will be the Peterson Brother. A great concert to catch for fans of blues artists like Buddy Guy and Muddy Waters.  Their combination of youthful energy and a blend of modern and old school influences is sure to get listeners up on their feet. This Austin based band consists of siblings Glenn Peterson Jr. on vocals and lead guitar, and Alex Peterson on bass, violin, and vocals as well.

The Peterson Brothers have been described by Jamfeed as “some of the most talented musicians [he has] seen come out of Austin.” Their festival gigs have included Austin City Limits, Chicago Blues Fest, Minneapolis State Fair, and Old Settler’s Music Fest. In September 2019 they performed at Crossroads Village at Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival in Dallas. These talented brothers have even toured with another Austinite whose bluesy guitar rhythms skyrocketed his climb to fame: Gary Clark Jr. The Peterson Brothers open for him and he has also shared the stage with them during his show at Antone’s— a legendary night club in Austin aptly dubbed “Home of the Blues.” The Peterson Brothers are going to have the crowd grooving all night long.

The headliner for July 3rd is Dennis DeYoung and the Music of Styx. Dennis is best known for being a founding member of the rock band Styx as primary lead vocalist and keyboardist, a tenure that lasted from 1970 until June 1999. DeYoung has been credited as the writer of more Styx songs than any other Styx member. The crowd can sing along to popular hits like “Come Sail Away” and “Mr. Roboto” as he plays a variety of music from his former band. It will be a rockin’ good time for all.

We Book Country Music Headliners for the 4th

Of course, the big night is the 4th of July. Being Texas country, the Fourth always features a country music concert. Country music fans are in for a treat. The headliners this year will feature Aaron Tippin, Sammy Kershaw, and Collin Raye as they stop by to perform on their Roots and Boots tour. Get ready to for some great country music.

TSE Entertainment | 25 Years of Festival Entertainment Booking for Independence DayAaron Tippin is celebrating 25 years in the music industry this year. He takes pride in the music he creates and the career he has continued to sustain. Fans love his hits such as“I Wouldn’t Have It Any Other Way” and “Kiss This.” Five of his albums are certified gold and a sixth CD—Read Between The Lines—stands at the platinum level. Tippin has spent a lot of his time playing for U.S Troops overseas and his presence at a celebration of America’s birthday feels very fitting. Baytown’s amphitheater open-air covered stage is adorned with names of the city’s fallen veterans as well as firefighters who have passed away. Tippin should feel right at home on the stage.

Sammy Kershaw is a multi-platinum artist with 5 million record sales under his belt. This grammy-nominated country musician will have the crowd singing along to his number one singles “She Don’t Know She’s Beautiful” and “Love of My Life.” Fans of music and foodies alike will not only enjoy his voice— Kershaw also is the owner of his own Cajun spices, rubs, and hot sauce line. A man who can both sing and cook with soul.

Collin Raye is a country artist with an honest heart and a generous spirit. His music ranges from ballads like “Love Me” and energetic tunes like “My Kind of Girl.” Raye uses his fame for good, constantly supporting organizations like Alcoholics Anonymous, Country Cares About AIDS, The Tennessee Tasks Force Against Domestic Violence, and Childhelp USA. Raye has a heart as big as Texas and he is going to sing his way into the heart of the crowd.

TSE Featured Entertainers Booked for Opening Musical Acts

The evening concert will start with Texas regional bands. The set-up band this year is Eclipse. They are a Journey Tribute band hailing from San Antonio, TX.  They bring the music of Journey back to life on stage. Eclipse puts on an electrifying show chalked full of hits like “Don’t Stop Believin’” and “Wheel in the Sky.” Nothing to get a crowd more amped than a good old-fashioned Journey sing along. Be prepared to have a lot of fun. You can learn more about Eclipse on their TSE Artist Page.

The night’s opening group is also hoping to make a splash at the celebration. It’s Houston’s hometown favorite party band; The GooRoos Yacht Rock Revue. They will open the show with their music that is influenced by various easy listening bands of the 1960s and 1970s. Their setlist currently feats tributes to Steely Dan, Hall & Oates, The Doobie Brothers, and Pablo Cruise. This group truly has something for everyone. You can learn more about the GooRoos Yacht Rock on their TSE Artist Page.

Can’t make the show this July? Baytown also holds its annual Grito Festival the first Saturday each October, also at Bicentennial Park for another chance at a dance in the park. And once again, TSE will be working with them as their Tejano Norteño music booking agency as well. Come to think of it, TSE is the music booking agency for all their events, big and small.

Baytown knows how to throw a party and TSE is proud to be its entertainment booking agency. After 25 years, TSE and the Baytown Parks and Recreation Department can read each other’s mind when it come for the festival entertainment.

This Independence Day festival is sure to be an event you won’t soon forget.
