The Pictures Band is an Austin TX variety band specializing in weddings, corporate events, galas/fundraisers, reunions, and all sorts of private events! ‘BEST AUSTIN WEDDING BAND’- Austin A-List.
Brothers Byron and Robin Smith started the band at 10 and 11yrs of age winning a talent show and have kept it going to this very day! This private party and function band has since added their basses, Chuck, as well as their keyboard player, Dextrimental. Along the way the band was fortunate enough to find one of the best vocalists they had ever heard, Chris, and then proceeded to land an amazing female vocalist, Victoria. Both vocalists are dynamic and rare, and along with the rest of the band are sure to wow any guest for your wedding, corporate event, or private function!
If you are looking for more of a country band sound, Pictures Band has the ability to add a horn section as well as a fiddle, so that your live entertainment is exactly what you need for your private event. You can count on these band members always being the same, and not engaging in the ‘musician pool’ band structure like many in the industry.
Pictures Band has performed live entertainment around the world in shows for our troops, celebrity weddings as a Texas wedding band, raised money for worthwhile fundraiser Galas, performed for major corporate events like Exxon, Chevron, Dell and even did the Bush Inaugurals!
Continually improving, The Pictures Band has added specific themed stage design, a snow machine, and lasers for climatic moments (if requested) as well as state of the art sound and lighting! Specializing as a variety band, Pictures Band can start with a softer dinner show early if requested.
