In 2007 a new fusion of Tejano, Conjunto, and Cumbia Music emerged as the now well-known band Da Krazy Pimz.
Founder Eddie Jimenwz began the project by using his many years of experience, ideas, and talent to “Pimp out La Onda” form something newer, crazier, while still giving fans great danceable music to enjoy.
The bands single “Cumbia De Los Pimz” opened doors for Da Krazy Pimpz to Mexico and several Tejano driven States in the U.S. The song picked up airplay from Tejano and Regional/Mexican radio stations everywhere and top stations like KXTN Tejano 107.5 in San Antonio, TX, and Super Tejano 102 in McAllen, TX.
In 2008 Da Krazy Pimpz were invited to perform the hit song “Cubia De Los Pimpz at the Tejano Music Awards by President Frank Salazar.
The band then began several tours to San Luis Protosi, and Monterrey, pushing their music deep into the heart of his Mexican Country with songs like “Demasiado Romantica” and “Por Tu Amor”.
Since then Da Krazy Pimz have toured Monterrey, Tampico San Luis Potoso and Puebla, Mexico, as well as U.S. States such as Texas, Florida, California, Arizona, Washington, Idaho, Kasas, Illinios, Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio and Michigan.
The Cumbia hit song “Bombo Y Maracas” has cemented Da Krazy Pimpz as not only Conjunto band but also a hybrid cumbia band gaining already over 300,000 views on YouTube to date.
In 2014 the band produced big hits like “La Cachetona” and “Te Vaz Buena” which were released Nationwide in the US and Mexico under Monitor Latino, a well-known regional Mexican chart monitoring website and single distribution company. Da Krazy Pimpz have become a household name across the US and Mexico.
Da Krazy Pimpz have cemented their “controversial” name as one of the top conjunto bands in the industry today. In 2016 Da Krazy Pimpz were invited to perform at the Tejano National Convention in Las Vegas Nevada, one of the biggest Tejano shows in the US with over 7,000 fans attending. The well-known Tejano Music Awards have also invited Da Krazy Pimpz to perform at the coveted award shows in 2015, 2016, and 2018.
Superstar singer “Gary Hobbs” from the same town of Eagle Pass, TX signed Eddie to his own independent record label “AMMX Records” to a 4-year contract. Gary along with his song Gary Lee Hobbs have both guided and produced Da Krazy Pimpz with their knowledge and years of experience.
