Texas Jamm Band originally started in 1993 with a collaboration between members of George Strait’s Ace in the Hole Band and Clay Blaker’s Texas Hony Tonk Band, a group that had often played shows with George and Ace in the Hole. The band formed as a general jam band that would include anyone and everyone who wished to participate. Over the year, many of those members went on to build their own careers while the original jam band started in 1993 remained.
While the band kept receiving requests to play, they decided to give themselves a name. Because the band was born and reared at a jam session in the Texas honky tonk, the name Texas Jamm Band fell into place.
For over twenty years the Texas Jamm Band has been filling the dance floors of dance halls, night clubs, and special events venues. To this day, fans continue to enjoy the timeless and classic sound of The Texas Jamm Band, featuring members of George Strait’s Ace in the Hole band.
