A pickup truck, a soundtrack and some encouragement from his daughter was all it took for Kris Jones to become an Internet sensation. With a voice as smooth as “Tennessee Whiskey”, Jones belted out the tune of the same name from the front seat of his work truck as his daughter recorded the performances.
The video went on to garner roughly 60 million views and earn the hard-working dad an impressive social media following as well as appearances on radio and television shows worldwide, including the Emmy award-winning The Ellen DeGeneres Show and Country Music Television’s Pickler and Ben Show.
Influenced by the country sounds of George Jones and Garth Brooks, the edgy contemporary style of Christian singer Carman, and the impeccable harmonies of the temptations, Jones developed his own vocal styling that appeals to lovers of every musical genre.
